Welcome to our Sharing & Caring
Food Pantry!
Announcement: 5th Anniversary Fill the Truck Food Drive!

We’re turning FIVE!
Five years ago, a tiny seed of an idea rooted in community and action was planted. From that, our Sharing & Caring Food Pantry blossomed! It was not yet hosted in our beautiful pantry, but in three tote boxes that faithfully sat at the end of our driveway rain, shine, even snow. We want to pay tribute to our humble beginnings to celebrate this milestone and….
We want YOU to help us celebrate in a BIG way!
Our goal? Fill a whole truck with food! Swing by the White River Co-op on Saturday, March 22 from 9-3pm to drop your donations off and help us fill the truck! Shop in-store the week leading up to the main event and drop directly into our collection box inside the Co-op or join us on Saturday to donate directly onto the truck! No donation is too big or too small. Now more than ever, every single item truly goes on to help someone else in need. This is typically our largest donation event for the entire year. Can you help us?
Does your business or group want to support our ‘fill the truck’ efforts? Organize a food drive, then bring it to the truck on 3/22 to donate! Feel free to contact us to set up: sharingandcaringfoodpantry@gmail.com
Can’t make our event in-person, but want to support us? Venmo us a monetary donation (@whiteriverjct_umc) OR order from our updated Amazon Wishlist, which will be sent to us directly (we’ll make sure it’s on the truck)!

We’d like to send a big thank you to our partners for this event: White River Co-op and Blood’s Catering and Party Rentals!
RSVP to stay updated on all upcoming announcements, including donation ideas. Please share, share, share to help us spread the word! We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

Our Sharing & Caring Food Program provides free, supplemental food for absolutely anyone in need of food assistance. Our food remains outside and available 24/7 in rain, shine, even snow! We strive to allow anonymity and preserve integrity of everyone accessing our food. Our motto: Take what you need, give what you can!
Our beautiful pantry was built in May 2020 with the help of our friends at Cover Home Repair with local wood from Wright’s Sawmill. With both plentiful shelving and a refrigerator, we can stock both perishable and nonperishable food items, pet food, and personal care items!
We would like to thank all of our wonderful community partners!
