Frequently Asked Questions

When is the building open?

Our worship is at 10:30am every Sunday. Our Second Hand Rose is open from on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm and on Saturdays from 10am-12pm. Our office secretary is here during those same hours on Wednesdays.

Are you accessible?

Yes! Our sanctuary and fellowship hall are accessible via elevator. We have accommodated seating in our santuary, as well.

How do I access your food pantry?

Our Sharing & Caring Food Pantry is located outside at the front of our building and is open/unlocked 24/7/365. We operate with the motto: Take what you need, give what you can. We offer supplemental food assistance to absolutely anyone in need and you will never have to provide any information to receive assistance. Likewise, donations can be put directly into the pantry or by emailing us (sharingandcaringfoodpantry@gmail.com) to make other arrangements.

Do you offer rent assistance?

We do not offer rent assistance. We have several other missions through our church including our Sharing & Caring Food Pantry, Second Hand Rose thrift shop, and monthly (Sep-Nov, Feb-Apr) homemade Turkey Suppers.

How can I connect with you?

You can join us on social media (Facebook, Instagram), as well as reach out through our Contact Us page. We also have specific emails to connect directly with our pastor (pastor@wrjmethodists.org) and food pantry director (sharingandcaringfoodpantry@gmail.com).

Do you have a newsletter?

We do! Our newsletter is full of news about our church, the members, and community. We only publish a couple per year, so we will not spam you with them. Donna, our newsletter editor, is always looking for articles and fun tidbits to add to the next one! Print or digital copies are available at request. To submit an article or with any questions/comments, please contact Donna at: wrjctunitedmethodistnewsletter@gmail.com
